Sochenda is a founder of Emerald Agency Limited and she is a tax partner with her 13 years experience of tax professional at one of the big 4 accounting firm, KPMG where she started her tax career as Tax Assistant at KPMG in year 2003. The below is her career growth in tax. Sochenda also seconded KPMG in Singapore for 3 months in year 2011, 1st Cambodian outbound tax trekker. Sochenda also worked as accountant in year 2002 for 8 months at Expeditors Cambodia Ltd.

About Sochenda, she graduated a Bachelor Degree in Accounting in year 2002, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2005, Pursuing ACCA with 3 more papers to finish, completed English language from Australian Center Education (ACE) level 12.

Other experiences

Sochenda is a member of Tax Working Group (TWG) who has been working closely with the Tax Office.

Sochenda has been involved with various business associations and also members of those organizations including, Business Network International (BNI), Cambodian Woman Entrepreneur Association (CWEA), Cambodian Investor Club (CIC) and Women Investor Club (WIC). Sochenda is the 2016 Local President of JCI Cambodia - Mekong Chapter and was the 2015 Vice President of International Affairs and she has volunteered to conduct various tax training for the various clients include conducting a public training local and overseas.

Sochenda has various experiences in dealing with the international clients in various industries including oil & gas, banks, microfinance, trading, school…etc. With a good connection with various tax officials through various tax audit engagements and members of TWG, Sochenda has become one of the top tax practitioners in Cambodia.

With her education background, her experiences and her network, she believes that she can grow up this newly set up Company.
